Estava fora quando passou o show de Kobe por isso só vi as imagens depois, vi e revi várias vezes tentando absorver tudo que os novos programas de Yuzuru se propõem a mostrar.
Também vi várias vezes o discurso feito por ele, discurso  que para mim foi tão emocionante e impactante quanto suas performances.

This video reminded me about 2 things that I wanted to share after watching 3 FaOI shows in Kobe. 
1) After each performance of SEIMEI and Requiem and also after his speeches, when he bowed to the audience, he bowed so low that I thought his hair might touch the ice.  For the Japanese, the longer and deeper the bow, the stronger the emotion and the respect expressed. I was very touched by the many deep bows he made to us.
2) At the end of the 2nd show, he made a moving speech with a mic (translated in an earlier post). For his last words of thanks, he lowered the mic and just shouted out as loudly as he could. I was seated at the other end of the rink, at the very last row, right at the top. This pic below was taken from my seat before the show.
Yuzu was speaking from the left of the stage. I was probably the furthest person away from him in that place.  And I could hear his voice shouting “arigato gozaimashita!” without the mic.  I was surprised and touched.  He wanted to thank all of us with his own strength to express how grateful he was. As I announced the piece, the whole audience got excited. The staff told me that the repairing work would take more than 5 minutes, but in fact they finished it in 4 minutes, so I thought I should cut the piece... It was an unusual experience to think about how I could shorten the piece while I was playing!! Anyway, I managed to make it like within 6 minutes in total. 

And they gave me a standing ovation as soon as I played the last note. I heard afterwards that Yuzuru was watching my performance and dancing to it at the rinkside. It was already a huge honor for me.
But the story went on, even more exciting. At the dinner on that day, Yuzuru came to me and said, "Could you play the Ballade no.1 once again at the end of the tomorrow's show (the last show) and collaborate with me?" You can't imagine how I was overjoyed and enthusiastic about his request!

(You can find it on youtube by searching for "Yuzuru Hanyu Ballade") So, in order to study his interpretation I spent about an hour watching his skating on youtube (it's actually from a recording of Zimmerman).
The next day, I had only 20 minutes for my rehearsal and Yuzuru and I rehearsed about 10 minutes. Then we did the show... It was an unforgettable moment and a very unusual situation to play and collaborate at the end of the finale with all the skaters and all the other artists (Tomotaka Okamoto, Sarah Alainn, Edvin Marton) watching our collaboration at the rinkside! 

I still can't believe this happened in such a way... I would like to thank Yuzuru and all the people involved, including the audience. I am really impressed by Yuzuru, who had very hard programs at each show, yet taking care of so many things, motivating his fellow skaters, treating the artists with courtesy and doing his best to arouse the audience to enthusiasm. And believe it or not, he is still 20 years old!

Fantasia on Ice 2015 é longo, cheio de memórias maravilhosas ... e eu gostaria de compartilhar minha experiência muito especial aqui. 

No show de sábado à tarde, tivemos um problema com a pista de gelo (eles encontraram  buracos no gelo), à direita antes do meu primeiro número com Akiko Suzuki e eles tiveram que reparar a pista. 

Como  parecia que o trabalho não seria  concluído em breve, Akiko e eu esperamos nos bastidores. Então eu disse ao gerente de palco que eu poderia talvez tocar um solo. E eles aceitaram. Então eu fui no palco e toquei "Ballade No.1 de Chopin".
Eu escolhi esta peça porque Yuzuru Hanyu, o medalhista de ouro dos Jogos Olímpicos de Sochi, patinou esse peça na última temporada. Quando  eu anunciei a peça, toda a platéia  ficou animada. 

A equipe me disse que o trabalho de reparação levaria mais de 5 minutos, mas na verdade eles terminaram em 4 minutos, então eu pensei que eu deveria cortar o pedaço ... 

Foi uma experiência incomum pensar em como encurtar a música enquanto a executava.!! De qualquer forma, eu consegui fazer isso em 6 minutos no total. 

E eles me deram uma ovação de pé assim que toquei a última nota. Ouvi depois que
Yuzuru estava assistindo meu desempenho e dançou no rinkside. 

Já era uma grande honra para mim. Mas a história continuou, ainda mais emocionante. No jantar daquele dia, Yuzuru veio até mim e disse: "Você poderia tocar o no.1 Ballade mais uma vez no final do show de amanhã (o último show) e me acompanhar?" 

Você não pode imaginar como eu estava muito feliz e entusiasmado com o seu pedido! No entanto, parecia um enorme desafio, porque a música que ele usou já foi editado em vários pontos e foi em tempi diferente da minha. (Você pode encontrá-lo no youtube procurando por "Yuzuru Hanyu Ballade") 

Assim, a fim de estudar a sua interpretação passei cerca de uma hora de ver seu patinação no youtube (é, na verdade, de uma gravação de Zimmerman). No dia seguinte, eu tinha apenas 20 minutos para o meu ensaio e Yuzuru e eu ensaiamos cerca de 10 minutos. 

Então nós fizemos o show ... Foi um momento inesquecível e uma situação muito incomum tocar colaborar no final da final com todos os skaters e todos os outros artistas (Tomotaka Okamoto, Sarah Alainn, Edvin Marton) assistindo a nossa colaboração no rinkside! Eu ainda não posso acreditar que isso aconteceu de forma ... 

Eu gostaria de agradecer Yuzuru e todas as pessoas envolvidas, incluindo o público. Estou realmente impressionado com Yuzuru, que tinha programas muito rígidos em cada show, ainda cuidar de tantas coisas, motivar seus companheiros skatistas, tratando os artistas com cortesia e fazendo o seu melhor para despertar o público para entusiasmo. E, acredite ou não, ele ainda tem 20 anos!

Brief report on last part of today's FaOI.
(This has been one of the happiest weekends in my life. I went for my first ice show and I also met 3 wonderful Japanese fans that I have been good friends with in this group.)
The FaOI shows were spectacular! I enjoyed all the performances so much! Of course Yuzu was the best. His SEIMEI was so powerful and my heart felt like it would burst with the pounding. Then his Requiem was so intense and emotional that my heart broke and my eyes flooded with tears.
Every show was a bit different. (I went for all 3.)
Today, when it was quad battle time, Yuna went first and then Shoma, Oda, Javi. I saw Yuzu unbuttoning the top buttons of his shirt and so I was expecting him to be next. Instead he took the mic and said he will not do the quad battle today. Everyone went "Ehhhhh??????" and we thought "oh no! He's not doing it today???" Then Yuzu said, "I will do a collaboration as I did not do one." The pianist started to get ready at the piano. OMG!!!! I realised he was going to perform Chopin with the pianist playing for him!!! (the same pianist who played for us Chopin Ballade No.1 while the ice was being fixed during the 1st show) I was ecstatic!!!
He did the 2nd half of Chopin and I was so amazed watching it live. He is SO FAST!!! His movements were beautiful and quick as lightning! When it ended with the usual Ballade ending pose of clenching his fists, everyone erupted in wild cheers and applause. Yuzu was just unbelievable. I was so overwhelmed that I had to scream to let it all out. My screams were not out of place amidst other fans' screams and cheers. Emoticon grin
Today my seat was also the best seat of the 3 shows. 7th row from the rink and it was near enough to see all the expressions clearly. Yuzu was right in front of me (7 rows away) during the finale bow near the rink side and his beautiful, bright smiling face is pure joy to see and will be etched in my memory forever. Breve relatório sobre a última parte da FaOI de hoje. (Este tem sido um dos fins de semana mais felizes da minha vida. Eu fui para o meu primeiro show no gelo e eu também reuniu 3 maravilhosos fãs japoneses que tenho sido bons amigos com neste grupo.) Os shows FaOI foram espetacular! Eu gostava de todas as performances tanto! Claro Yuzu foi o melhor. Sua seimei era tão poderoso e meu coração parecia que ia explodir com a batida. Então seu Requiem era tão intenso e emocional que meu coração se partiu e meus olhos inundados de lágrimas. Cada show foi um pouco diferente. (Eu fui para todos os 3.) Hoje, quando era hora de batalha quad, Yuna foi o primeiro e, em seguida, Shoma, Oda, Javi. Eu vi Yuzu desabotoar os botões de sua camisa e assim que eu estava esperando que ele ser o próximo. Em vez disso, ele tomou o microfone e disse que não vai fazer a batalha quad hoje. Todos foram para "Ehhhhh ??????" e nós pensamos "oh não! Ele não está fazendo isso hoje ???" Então Yuzu disse: "Eu vou fazer uma colaboração como eu não fazer um." O pianista começou a ficar pronto ao piano. OH MEU DEUS !!!! Quando terminou com o Ballade terminando postura habitual de cerrando os punhos, todo mundo explodiu em gritos selvagens e aplausos. Yuzu foi simplesmente inacreditável. Eu estava tão sobrecarregado que eu tinha de gritar para deixar tudo para fora. Meus gritos não estavam fora de lugar em meio a gritos e aplausos de outros fãs. Emoticon sorriso Hoje o meu lugar também foi o melhor sede dos três shows. 7ª linha a partir da pista e que estava perto o suficiente para ver todas as expressões claramente. Yuzu estava bem na minha frente (7 fileiras de distância) durante o arco finale perto do lado da pista e sua linda, cara de sorriso brilhante é pura alegria para ver e será gravado na minha memória para sempre. I will explain yesterday's surprise in detail. There was a 'happening' (meaning the ice condition) on the 4th day show, and I was playing ballade 1 and Yuzu who was listening to it by the rink, came to my seat that evening at dinner and said, "Tomorrow, at the end of the Finale, could you please you do a collaboration with me to Ballade no.1?" What an honor!
However, his SP had many cuts in it, so I looked it up that night on Youtube and that morning we had a 10 minute sound-check and practice with him (Yuzu) and I waited for the real performance with nervousness. It's very difficult to play a piece you know well, with a specified cut and at a different tempo than usual.
To play at the Finale in front of top level skaters and artists is such a rare situation, many deep emotions welled up in me. The timing of the last two notes was unique and difficult but I watched the spin as I played to match it.
Last night I thanked everyone involved with FaOI but I want to specially thank the leader Yuzu. Completing such a hard program and still being aware/concerned for those around him, and enlivening the area. So impressive. (In that regard, Nobu was wonderful too!)
I've learned so much from the skaters at this FaOI. If there is an opportunity I'd love to come back again and I'd like to see how I can take this experience and bring it into the Japanese music world.
Anyway, this week I have 3 shows in Europe, I will give it the energy of a 3-combo jump!

こんにちはにゅう~ (^^) (T / N: Aqui ele está fazendo um trocadilho com o nome "Hanyu" e "Olá".) Eu vou explicar a surpresa de ontem em detalhe. Houve um "acontecimento" (que significa a condição de gelo) no 4º dia show, e eu estava jogando uma balada e Yuzu, que estava ouvindo pela pista, veio para o meu lugar naquela noite no jantar e disse: "Amanhã, às o fim do Finale, você poderia agradá-lo fazer uma colaboração comigo para Ballade no.1? " Que honra! No entanto, seu SP teve muitos cortes nele, então eu olhei para cima naquela noite no Youtube e que manhã tivemos uma passagem de som e prática 10 minutos com ele (Yuzu) e eu esperei para o desempenho real com nervosismo . É muito difícil jogar um pedaço que você conhece bem, com um corte especificado e em um ritmo diferente do habitual. Para jogar no Finale na frente de patinadores de nível superior e artistas é uma situação rara, muitas emoções profundas brotou em mim. O calendário das duas últimas notas era único e difícil, mas eu assisti o spin como eu joguei para igualá-la. Ontem à noite eu agradeceu a todos os envolvidos com FaOI mas eu quero agradecer especialmente o líder Yuzu. Completando um programa tão duro e ainda estar consciente / preocupado com aqueles ao seu redor, e animar a área. Tão impressionante. (A este respeito, Nobu foi maravilhoso também!) Eu aprendi muito com os patinadores neste FaOI. Se houver uma oportunidade que eu adoraria voltar e eu gostaria de ver como eu posso aproveitar esta experiência e trazê-lo ao mundo a música japonesa. De qualquer forma, esta semana eu tenho 3 shows na Europa, vou dar-lhe a energia de um salto de combinação 3-!
