His grateful heart

This video reminded me about 2 things that I wanted to share after watching 3 FaOI shows in Kobe.
1) After each performance of SEIMEI and Requiem and also after his speeches, when he bowed to the audience, he bowed so low that I thought his hair might touch the ice. For the Japanese, the longer and deeper the bow, the stronger the emotion and the respect expressed. I was very touched by the many deep bows he made to us.
2) At the end of the 2nd show, he made a moving speech with a mic (translated in an earlier post). For his last words of thanks, he lowered the mic and just shouted out as loudly as he could. I was seated at the other end of the rink, at the very last row, right at the top. This pic below was taken from my seat before the show.
Yuzu was speaking from the left of the stage. I was probably the furthest person away from him in that place. And I could hear his voice shouting “arigato gozaimashita!” without the mic. I was surprised and touched. He wanted to thank all of us with his own strength to express how grateful he was. His sincerity really touched me.
These 2 points may be trivial to others but it means the world to me because I really felt his gratitude and appreciation for all of us. That grateful heart that I always read and hear about is very, very real.

Seu coração agradecido

Este vídeo me lembrou cerca de 2 coisas que eu queria compartilhar depois de assistir três FaOI mostra em Kobe.
1) Após cada exercício das seimei e Requiem e também após seus discursos, quando ele se inclinou para o público, ele curvou-se tão baixo que eu pensava que seu cabelo pode tocar o gelo.
